As the wave of EDM is passing by us, there’s an endless list of electronic musicians storming into the music scene. Tunes are becoming more and more progressive as times goes on. From deep house to techno, we rounded up a few electronic musical artists you should include in your playlists.


Mild Minds

Australian music artist Benjamin David is causing up a frenzy in the world of lo-fi inspired house beats and melancholic melodies. Having travelled from Sydney to North American cities like New York City and Los Angeles to play, David has slowly created his own music that speaks to him free from an overthinking thought process and restrictions. He let his creative juices flow naturally. Be sure to listen to “Embracer” and “Movements,” a song that proudly showcases his soothing, rhythmic sound and direction.

Adam Port

Dipping his hands in hip-hop, turntablism and vinyl, Port turned to his passion for techno music. It is his style that makes him stand out from the rest – his groove and steering clear from the mainstream of doing things. He explores different routes to creating his beats maintaining integrity not just for the music world, but also for himself.

Kasbo

From Gothenburg, Sweden, Carl Garsbo (A.K.A. Kasbo) started his electronic musical endeavors at an early age. His exquisite, infectious sounds has garnered him high praise from Billboard, NYLON and Highsnobiety to name a few and earned him a #1 spot on iTunes Electronic charts. His music flows into visuals in the choreograph of his pieces that make you want to dance and cry simultaneously. Check out his debut album Places We Don’t Know.

Cubicolor

Amsterdam-founded electronic trio Ariaan Olieroock, Peter Kriek and Tim Digby-Bell comprises Cubicolor, producing the most mesmerizing ringing to your ears. Their tunes are nothing short of experimental and dynamic. Personal favorites of KACTUS are their songs Got This Feeling and Points Beyond.

Lane 8

The brainchild behind Lane 8 is American music producer, DJ and musician Daniel Goldstein. It was his experimentation with hip-hop and other forms of music genres that he finally found his own personal taste in sound that ranges between electronic and “glitch-pop.” Some crowd favorites are Fingerprint, Just and Brightest Lights.
