Ending a tumultuous year on a high note with the launch of KACTUS. The idea of compiling words, thoughts and images into something graceful has long been in the works and it is finally coming into fruition. KACTUS delves into different realms of thinking, some abstract whereas others concrete, as well as what and how we perceive art and design as. It goes into our diverse cultures and our multifaceted societies. Beyond that, it is in hopes that KACTUS will open your eyes to the world and challenge norms.
This is the space for both creatives and non-creatives. This can be the space that will give you some food for thought. This can also be the space that will inspire you to do something you are passionate about. Simple, but with deep meaning.
With KACTUS’s first issue launching this Autumn 2020, we dive into the topic of space. Space is and can be much more than we think it is. Grab your first copy and get ready to sink your head into another dimension.
Space is more than just our living and working area. It is more than the architecture we see. Space can be defined by us. It’s how we position items to make it more roomy, or less roomy. Little do we know, we interact with our space daily. It can even give us energetic frequency depending on what items we add to our space and how we position them.
I like to think that buildings are designed for people and for that reason I prefer to design public buildings which usually are used for a lot of people who will interact with that spatial experience.
