Hailing from the Dutch city of Eindhoven, Nick Klein and Ferdous Dehzad were just like any of us living life and working to foot out bills. They were an Internet sensation after just two days of uploading a song onto Soundcloud whereby it aired on BBC Radio 1. Paralyzed was the miracle worker song they produced that launched them to the forefront of stardom. From here on out, they went from college kid and full-time pizza slinger to becoming an electro pop duo – Klyne, with Klein as singer and Dehzad as producer.
‘Klyne’ is the Dutch word for small. Though, small doesn’t represent these avant-garde musical artists. There isn’t a single word to describe the sounds they produce, but if we had to try, it would be a touch of minimal, dark with subtle pops of experimental beats. A Kactus favorite of theirs is Water Flow.
